Description of my customized template for the book interior.
Front Matter: All the pages from the first page, the Title page, publisher's page, copyright page, dedication and acknowledgements pages, table of contents page, and a following optional preface or forward, are called the Front Matter. Page numbering is in Roman numerals or some other system different than the Body pagination.

Body: This is the section of the book pages that contain the text of the manuscript and may or may not have chapter or other divisions. Also illustrations/charts may be placed in the body.

End Page(s): This is an optional additional page(s) after the end of the Body text (The End), and is where an index and/or glossary/charts, etc., appear and the Author’s page(s).

Titles. Titles can be in standard or specialty fonts. Titles can also be custom graphic designed to convey the nature of the words and book content or story ... a custom designed graphic font title must be placed in the book interior template the same as a graphic image, like an illustration or photographic image. A custom designed graphic title is rendered as HD 300 dpi jpeg.

Illustration. Book illustrations can include graphic opportunities for opening pages, chapter headings, and art work to illustrate story characters, environments, and events or charts and tables. All illustrations created/prepared by LIT are rendered as HD 300 dpi jpeg.

Art and photography layout. This includes formatting and sizing the images for placement and placing any text that might accompany the image. This may include a photograph of the author on the end pages' 'author's page' along with text..
Your book cover design is your branding. The cover delivers your primary message that informs your audience what the voice and tenure of the contents are. In advertising, we say, a first glance should clearly convey the packaged content and let the consumer know exactly what it does for them. The title, art work, and author's identity should clearly fulfill this goal and is what distinguishes your book from all others. Your story is unique and has characters and events, situations, settings, unlike any other.
With certain exceptions, a well designed book covermakes subtitles redundant. Often we see subtitles doing the job the cover design has failed to do. One shouldn't 'have to explain' what the book is about beyond the title, the artwork, and the author. What one wants is to intrigue the potential reader to pick the book up, physically or virtually, to turn it over and look at the back cover - which is where the author can introduce themselves, convey other works, provide a statement regarding the content of the book, or further illustrate - and to take that peak inside and begin reading. All these experiences can be balanced to deliver succinct, consistent information.
All artwork, illustration, graphic design, and titles/text are rendered in high definition 300 dpi,.The size of book your want and number of total pages determine the particular templates for the interior and the cover layout.
